November-December issue of TME Now Available!
In case you haven’t already noticed, the November-December issue of The Military Engineer magazine is now available online at www.themilitaryengineer.com. (Hard copies should have been delivered this week.) The main theme of this issue of TME is design and construction; however, the issue also features articles on small business participation in Department of Defense programs, asset management, and a Q&A with Joseph Gott, P.E., SES, the NAVFAC Chief Engineer and Director of Capital Improvements.
Additionally, this issue, the final TME of 2008, commemorates the magazine’s 100th anniversary with a special insert detailing its long and fascinating history. Written by Col. Gordon T. Bratz, USA (Ret.), former TME Editor in Chief, the insert tells the story of the publication’s conception at the Army Engineer School, then located at Washington Barracks, D.C., through its adoption by SAME and up to the present.
The online version of TME, presented in a terrific interactive digital PDF format, is accessible to SAME Members using their SAME membership numbers.
